About This Game:
Sheltered is a post-apocalyptic management game where a family survives a nuclear disaster by taking refuge inside an underground bunker. Food, water, oxygen, power, hygiene, stress, radiation, and equipment all need attention as supplies gradually disappear.
Leaving the shelter is necessary for long-term survival but exposes family members to dangerous strangers, contaminated environments, and uncertain events. Decisions about who leaves and what equipment they carry can determine whether the household gains valuable supplies or loses someone permanently.
How the Gameplay Works
Players assign family members tasks such as repairing systems, building furniture, tending to needs, crafting equipment, and operating the shelter. Rainwater collection, filters, generators, and other machines must be kept functional.
Expeditions are planned across the surrounding map, where survivors search buildings and encounter other people. Combat is turn-based when negotiations fail, while recruited outsiders can expand the shelter’s workforce and defensive capabilities.
