About This Game:
AFTERBLAST is a fast first-person roguelite where an immortal warrior enters the realm of an Evil God to battle armies of monsters. Each expedition provides new weapons, abilities, loot, and escalating challenges, while death becomes another opportunity to create a stronger build for the next attempt.
The game can be tackled alone or with a group of up to four players. Heavy bullet-hell pressure, large bosses, cooperative builds, and increasingly dangerous difficulty modifiers give its runs a mixture of FPS combat and roguelite progression.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move rapidly through combat areas while shooting enemies, avoiding dense projectile patterns, and collecting upgrades. Weapons and abilities can interact to form different builds, encouraging experimentation rather than relying on one fixed loadout.
One mode follows a sequence of portals toward the Evil God, while another uses larger maps where players hold territory against invading forces. Boss Souls can increase difficulty while also opening access to additional enemies, challenges, weapons, and items.
