Alt-Frequencies is an audio-focused mystery game set in a world trapped inside a repeating time loop. Instead of freely walking through environments, the player investigates events by listening to different radio stations and discovering what broadcasters, callers, and other voices know about the strange situation.
The story unfolds through news reports, talk shows, conspiracy programs, political discussions, and private moments accidentally exposed over the airwaves.
How the Gameplay Works
Players switch between radio frequencies and listen for useful statements. Important portions of broadcasts can be recorded and then transmitted to another station, where the information may cause presenters or callers to react differently.
Because time repeatedly resets, knowledge becomes the main form of progression. Choosing the right recording and sending it to the correct station can reveal new conversations, expose contradictions, and gradually uncover the larger mystery behind the loop.
