About This Game:
Auridia is an atmospheric Metroidvania about exploring the remains of an ancient subterranean civilization. Combat is kept relatively limited so that movement, platforming, hidden areas, and the mystery surrounding the abandoned city remain at the center of the experience.

The world contains artifacts, forgotten gods, and pieces of history that gradually explain what happened to Auridia. Many locations initially appear unreachable, giving players reasons to remember them and return after gaining additional movement options.

How the Gameplay Works
Exploration takes place across an interconnected map where advanced platforming techniques are necessary to reach new sections. Players can swing from ceilings with a grappling hook, bounce from hazards, use explosives, and chain movement abilities together.

New abilities open routes into previously inaccessible spaces, following the familiar Metroidvania cycle of exploration and backtracking. Optional artifacts and secret locations reward players who investigate beyond the most direct path.
