About This Game:
Bayonetta is a stylish third-person action game starring an Umbra Witch who awakens after centuries with little memory of her past. Her search for answers leads into a conflict involving angels, witches, ancient artifacts, and the hidden history connecting the forces of Paradiso, Inferno, and the human world.
Combat is built around speed, spectacle, and lengthy attack combinations. Bayonetta carries weapons on both her hands and feet, uses magical hair to summon enormous attacks, and can punish enemies with elaborate Torture Attacks.
How the Gameplay Works
Players combine punches and kicks into different strings while dodging incoming attacks. Evading at the last possible moment activates Witch Time, temporarily slowing enemies and creating an opening for uninterrupted combos.
Weapons can be equipped in different combinations and purchased or unlocked as the campaign progresses. Building combos without taking damage improves battle rankings, while boss fights dramatically increase the scale with multi-stage encounters against enormous angelic enemies.
