About This Game:
Black Skylands is a steampunk action adventure set across floating islands above an endless sky. Players control Eva as she attempts to defend her people and rebuild their homeland while confronting hostile factions and dangerous creatures threatening the surrounding settlements.
The game combines top-down shooting with open-world exploration, airship travel, resource gathering, and base development. Players can move between islands on foot before returning to their airship to travel across larger distances or engage enemy vessels.
How the Gameplay Works
Eva fights from an overhead perspective using firearms and other equipment while dodging enemy attacks. Weapons can be modified and upgraded, providing different options for fighting soldiers, creatures, and stronger opponents.
Airships can also be improved and used during aerial combat between floating islands. Resources gathered during expeditions support construction and development back at the player’s home base, creating a cycle between exploration, combat, and rebuilding.
