About This Game:
Blast Brigade vs. the Evil Legion of Dr. Cread is a colorful 2D metroidvania inspired by exaggerated action movies of the 1980s. A group of specialized heroes arrives on a tropical island where the villainous Dr. Cread has assembled forces and machinery for another plan to dominate the world.
The adventure combines shooting, platforming, exploration, puzzles, and character switching across one interconnected environment. Each hero brings unique abilities that become useful for both combat and reaching areas that another member of the team cannot access.
How the Gameplay Works
Players run, jump, aim, and fire through side-scrolling environments while fighting soldiers, robots, and other enemies. New weapons and traversal abilities gradually open additional routes through previously visited parts of the island.
Several heroes become playable during progression, and switching between them provides different combat and exploration options. Hidden areas, upgrades, environmental puzzles, and bosses encourage players to thoroughly investigate the interconnected map.
