Legend of the Sword is a 1988 fantasy interactive-fiction adventure set in the kingdom of Anar. The land has been invaded by the evil wizard Suzar, and the player’s party must search for a legendary sword and shield once used to protect the realm.
The adventure combines written descriptions with graphics and a map interface, giving players more visual information than purely text-based adventures of the period. A party of companions travels together as the search moves through different locations and dangers across Anar.
