About This Game:
Bloodgrounds combines tactical gladiator combat with management, RPG progression, and roguelite consequences. After surviving the arena and becoming a wealthy patron, the protagonist begins building a team of gladiators with the ultimate goal of taking revenge on Emperor Dammas II.
Between battles, players recruit fighters, provide equipment, train their abilities, manage injuries, and expand a city with buildings that unlock additional services. Gladiators can become valuable veterans over time, making their permanent death particularly costly.
How the Gameplay Works
Arena battles use turn-based tactical combat where positioning, class abilities, equipment, and enemy behavior all affect the outcome. Players command an entire group rather than controlling only a single champion.
Outside combat, the patron manages the roster and prepares surviving gladiators for future fights. New recruits can replace fallen warriors, while training, healing, equipment, and city upgrades gradually create a stronger organization capable of entering more dangerous arenas.
