About This Game:
Cyber Rats is a brutal action game about laboratory rats trapped inside an AI-controlled testing facility. Every experiment places the animals inside dangerous mazes filled with traps, robotic hunters, and gruesome ways to fail. Escaping means surviving the current experiment while searching for a way to undermine the system controlling the facility.
Procedural generation changes the maze between attempts, making traps and threats less predictable. Successful rats can also be improved through upgrades, providing a growing collection of tools for dealing with increasingly dangerous experiments.
How the Gameplay Works
Players navigate maze-like environments while completing objectives, gathering useful resources, searching for cheese, and avoiding lethal traps. Cyborg Hunters and other hazards actively pressure the player, turning exploration into a mixture of quick reactions and cautious route planning.
Death is expected, but each new attempt provides another opportunity to learn the facility and improve the rat’s capabilities. Because levels are procedurally assembled, memorizing a single safe path is not enough, and players must continually adapt to new layouts.
