About This Game:
CARRION is a reverse-horror action game in which players control the creature normally cast as the villain. After escaping containment inside a research facility, the amorphous organism moves through laboratories and industrial areas while hunting the humans responsible for imprisoning it.

As the creature grows, new biological abilities allow it to reach previously inaccessible sections of the facility. The result combines violent action with exploration and ability-gated progression similar to a Metroidvania.

How the Gameplay Works
The creature moves by extending tentacles onto nearby surfaces, allowing extremely fast movement through corridors, vents, shafts, and open rooms. Humans can be grabbed, dragged, consumed, or thrown into environmental hazards.

Special abilities include options for breaking barriers, controlling humans, creating webs, or becoming more resistant to threats, depending on the creature’s current size. Players must occasionally change mass to access abilities suited to particular puzzles or combat situations.
