About This Game:
CiniCross combines nonogram logic puzzles with the progression of a dark fantasy roguelite. Instead of clearing dungeon rooms through conventional combat, players solve picture-grid puzzles while descending through a branching dungeon filled with rewards, artifacts, dangerous encounters, and bosses.

Puzzle complexity increases as the journey continues, creating a natural sense of danger without abandoning the logical rules of nonograms. Artifacts can also alter those rules, allowing carefully constructed builds to approach later challenges in ways that would not be possible at the beginning of a run.

How the Gameplay Works:
Each room presents a nonogram that must be solved by using numerical clues to determine which squares belong in the completed grid. Early puzzles can be as small as 5×5, while deeper areas introduce significantly larger and more complicated layouts.

Players choose routes through the dungeon and collect artifacts that provide useful effects or modify puzzle mechanics. Because runs and puzzles can vary, progression depends on both logical problem solving and strategic decisions about which rewards and paths are worth taking.
