About This Game:
Company of Heroes Complete Edition combines the original World War II real-time strategy game with the Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valor expansions. Across its campaigns and multiplayer battles, players command infantry squads, armored vehicles, artillery, support units, and defensive positions in destructible European battlefields.
The game places more emphasis on battlefield positioning than simply producing the largest army. Infantry can use walls, buildings, craters, and other terrain as cover, while controlling strategic sectors provides the resources required to reinforce troops and deploy heavier equipment.
How the Gameplay Works
Players capture territory points and connect them to their headquarters to generate manpower, munitions, and fuel. Squads can be reinforced and upgraded, while vehicles can be repaired by engineers. Suppression, flanking, cover, and combined arms are central to winning engagements.
The included expansions add additional factions, campaigns, units, and scenarios. Buildings and terrain can be damaged or destroyed during battle, causing the tactical layout of a map to change as artillery and armored combat intensify.
