About This Game:
Cult of the Lamb blends action roguelite dungeon crawling with settlement management. Players control a lamb saved from sacrifice by a mysterious imprisoned deity and are tasked with building a devoted cult in its name while defeating the bishops who oppose its return.
The game alternates between dangerous crusades into hostile regions and daily life back at the cult’s settlement. Followers need food, shelter, faith, and attention, while rituals and doctrines allow the player to shape how the growing community behaves.
How the Gameplay Works
During crusades, players fight through randomized rooms using melee weapons, curses, tarot-card bonuses, and temporary upgrades. Defeated enemies and explored rooms provide resources, follower recruits, blueprints, and other rewards that can be taken back to the cult.
At the settlement, players construct buildings, assign followers to work, prepare food, preach sermons, perform rituals, deal with dissent, and choose doctrines. Progress on both sides supports the other, as stronger cult development unlocks combat advantages while successful crusades provide materials needed for further expansion.
