About This Game:
Darkwood is a top-down survival horror game set inside a disturbing forest that has isolated its inhabitants from the outside world. Strange creatures, infected people, abandoned buildings, and unexplained phenomena fill the woods as players search for a way to understand and possibly escape the nightmare.
How the Gameplay Works
During daylight, players explore procedurally arranged areas, gather supplies, meet characters, craft equipment, and discover new locations. Before night arrives, they return to a hideout, barricade entrances, prepare traps, and survive attacks until morning. Combat is deliberately tense, resources are limited, and choices involving other survivors can influence quests and endings.
