About This Game:
Deathtrap is a dark-fantasy tower-defense action RPG where players defend strongholds against waves of monsters. Instead of watching defenses operate from a distance, the player controls a hero directly while placing and improving traps around the battlefield.

Character abilities and trap layouts can be developed together, allowing builds to focus on direct combat, elaborate defenses, or a combination of both.

How the Gameplay Works
Before and during waves, players spend resources on traps positioned along enemy routes. These defenses can slow, damage, redirect, or otherwise weaken enemies while the hero attacks using class-specific abilities.

Experience and equipment improve the hero between missions, while traps can also gain additional functions. Later stages introduce stronger enemy combinations and more complicated paths that require careful placement and active participation.
