About This Game:
Disgaea 2 PC is a tactical RPG following Adell, one of the few humans unaffected by a curse placed on his world by Overlord Zenon. After a summoning attempt brings Zenon’s daughter Rozalin instead of the Overlord himself, the two travel together through a story that mixes revenge, romance, demons, and series-style comedy.
The PC edition includes content from expanded versions of the game, giving players a large roster, additional scenarios, and the deep progression systems associated with Disgaea.
How the Gameplay Works
Combat takes place on grid maps where characters move, attack, use skills, lift and throw allies or enemies, and manipulate Geo Panels. Positioning matters, but the game also encourages deliberately breaking normal tactical limits through huge damage values and specialized builds.
Characters can be created in many classes, reincarnated for stronger growth, and equipped with items that contain their own randomized Item World floors. The Dark Assembly returns for unlocking systems and influencing progression. Felony and subpoena mechanics add another layer of character development, while the post-game contains powerful enemies for players who want to keep optimizing long after the story ends. Those mechanics also make the later stages more varied, because turn-based grid tactics and adell and rozalin story continue affecting how the player handles new objectives instead of becoming irrelevant after the opening hours.
