DRAINUS is a side-scrolling shoot-’em-up where players pilot a ship equipped with the ability to absorb certain enemy attacks and convert that energy into powerful counterfire. The story follows Irina as she fights against the Kharlal Empire.
The absorption system makes defense an offensive tool. Instead of dodging every projectile, players can deliberately absorb compatible attacks when the timing is safe.
How the Gameplay Works
Players move through horizontal stages, fire weapons, activate the absorber, collect upgrades, and use stored energy to strengthen attacks. Enemy patterns mix absorbable and dangerous projectiles.
