About This Game:
Earth vs Mars is a turn-based tactical strategy game about humanity attempting to stop a full-scale Martian invasion. After years of secretly abducting Earth’s creatures, the invaders arrive with bizarre biological hybrids and advanced forces capable of overwhelming conventional armies.
Humanity responds by creating strange super soldiers of its own, combining humans with animal traits to produce specialized combat units. The campaign mixes lighthearted science-fiction with tactical battles, unusual commanders, and more than 30 handcrafted missions.
How the Gameplay Works
Combat takes place on grid-based battlefields where units move and attack in turns. Individual troops possess specialized abilities, while commanders provide additional powers that can significantly change the strategy used during a mission.
Alongside the campaign, players can fight the AI on custom maps, chase scores through Challenge Mode, or compete in one-versus-one multiplayer as Earth or Mars. Optional Brutal and Permadeath settings increase the consequences of mistakes, while the Map Lab lets players create their own scenarios.
