About This Game:
Enemy Territory: Quake Wars is a team-based first-person shooter set during the Strogg invasion of Earth. Human Global Defense Force troops battle the alien Strogg across large maps where each side has different weapons, vehicles, technologies, character classes, and battlefield objectives.
Matches are structured around multi-stage missions rather than simple team deathmatch. Attackers must complete a chain of objectives while defenders attempt to delay them until the match timer expires.
How the Gameplay Works
Players choose specialized classes capable of tasks such as healing teammates, repairing vehicles, deploying defenses, destroying objectives, or providing ammunition. Team coordination is important because different mission stages frequently require particular class abilities.
Large battlefields include tanks, aircraft, transports, defensive turrets, deployable equipment, and infantry combat. The GDF and Strogg use asymmetric technology, giving each faction distinctive tools despite competing over the same overall objectives.
