About This Game:
F.E.A.R. 3 is a supernatural first-person shooter continuing the story of Point Man, Paxton Fettel, and Alma. The campaign combines gunfights against heavily armed soldiers and paranormal creatures with unsettling environments and horror sequences tied to the series’ ongoing story.
The campaign is designed around two very different playable brothers. Point Man uses firearms and enhanced reflexes, while Fettel relies on supernatural abilities and can possess enemy bodies, creating distinct approaches when replaying missions.
How the Gameplay Works
As Point Man, players use conventional weapons, grenades, cover, and slow-motion reflexes to survive firefights. Fettel instead attacks with psychic powers and can temporarily take control of enemies, gaining access to their weapons while the possessed body survives.
Two players can complete the campaign cooperatively with one controlling each brother. Separate multiplayer-style modes introduce survival objectives and unusual supernatural rules rather than relying entirely on standard deathmatch combat.
