About This Game:
Seasons after Fall is a hand-painted 2D puzzle platformer in which a wild fox becomes involved with powerful spirits connected to the four seasons. Its forest transforms dramatically as spring, summer, autumn, and winter alter plants, water, pathways, and other parts of the environment.
There is no combat system. The adventure instead focuses on atmosphere, exploration, and understanding how seasonal changes can reshape the same location in useful ways.
How the Gameplay Works
Once seasonal powers are obtained, players can switch between seasons almost instantly. Winter may freeze water into a platform, rain from another season can fill an area, and particular plants may grow or react only under specific conditions.
Puzzles often require several season changes in sequence rather than a single obvious transformation. The fox travels through interconnected forest regions, returning to familiar places as newly acquired seasonal abilities reveal different routes and solutions.
