Airborne Kingdom is a city-building exploration game where an entire settlement floats above a desert world. Players begin with a small airborne platform and gradually expand it into a large traveling city capable of carrying homes, industries, storage, propulsion systems, and a growing population.
Unlike a stationary city builder, the kingdom moves between regions in search of resources, settlements, and lost technology. Its weight, lift, propulsion, and balance must all be considered whenever new structures are added.
How the Gameplay Works
Players place buildings on the airborne platform, gather resources from the ground below, recruit inhabitants, and provide necessities such as food, water, housing, and comfort. Lift-generating structures must support the city’s total weight, while propulsion determines how efficiently it travels.
Exploration reveals ground kingdoms that can provide quests, technology, trade, and new citizens. Completing requests improves diplomatic relationships while research unlocks better structures and allows the airborne settlement to travel farther across the world.
