Euro Truck Simulator 2 expands the long-haul trucking concept into a much larger driving and business simulation. Players begin as drivers taking hired jobs around Europe and can eventually purchase their own truck, establish garages, recruit employees, and create a transportation company operating across numerous cities.
The road network contains motorways, country roads, industrial areas, ports, cities, fuel stations, and border crossings. Truck manufacturers, detailed interiors, cargo varieties, vehicle customization, and an evolving economy give the game both a driving side and a long-term management layer.
How the Gameplay Works
Players select cargo contracts, connect the trailer, and drive toward the destination while monitoring fuel, damage, fatigue, traffic, speed limits, and navigation. Deliveries reward money and experience based partly on distance, cargo, and how safely the job was completed.
Leveling unlocks skills for longer routes, hazardous materials, valuable cargo, fragile loads, and more efficient deliveries. Earnings can purchase trucks and garages, while hired drivers generate additional income and gradually turn a one-person operation into a larger logistics company.
