About This Game:
Everdell is a digital adaptation of the tabletop strategy game about building a woodland city using workers, cards, resources, and seasonal progression. Players compete to create the most successful settlement by combining critters, constructions, events, and resource-generating locations.
The game rewards planning several turns ahead because many cards interact with matching buildings or specific production chains. Efficient cities can gain extra resources or points without spending as many actions.
How the Gameplay Works
Players place workers on board locations to gather berries, resin, pebbles, and twigs, then use those resources to play construction and critter cards into a personal tableau. Some cards trigger immediately, while others activate during production seasons.
Workers are gradually recovered as the year advances from season to season, opening new opportunities but also moving the game closer to its end. Special events, card synergies, and limited city space make each placement important. Solo and multiplayer modes allow the digital ruleset to be played without setting up the physical board. The overall loop stays centered on digital tabletop adaptation, while worker placement and card-driven city building keep the experience from becoming a single repeated action. As the game develops, resource management becomes more important and gives players another reason to adjust their approach instead of relying on the same solution from beginning to end.
