About This Game:
Million Depth is an action strategy adventure about descending into an underground world said to extend for one million floors. The story follows Moma, who enters the enormous subterranean structure while searching for a missing friend. What she discovers is a constantly changing world where events can differ between timelines and decisions made during one journey may have consequences far beyond the moment in which they occur.
Combat, exploration, crafting, and mystery solving are closely connected throughout the descent. Moma carries unusual technology that allows time itself to be stopped under specific conditions, giving players a chance to think during otherwise dangerous encounters. Equipment is also constructed manually from blocks, allowing weapons and defensive tools to take different forms depending on how they are assembled.
How the Gameplay Works
Moma’s Biotope Jammer freezes the world whenever she remains completely still. Enemies, projectiles, and surrounding threats stop moving, giving players time to examine the battlefield and decide what action to take next. Time resumes when Moma starts moving again, creating combat that alternates between careful planning and quick execution.
Weapons and shields have limited durability and eventually require repair, so surviving involves more than simply attacking continuously. Equipment can be crafted by arranging different blocks, with certain matching pieces upgrading each other when combined correctly. Underground merchants use a barter system rather than normal currency, and their reactions can change depending on the value of an offer. Exploring deeper also reveals clues about Moma, her friend, and the different timelines surrounding Million Depth.
