About This Game:
Morsels is a fast-paced creature-collecting roguelite that follows a hungry mouse trying to escape life beneath a city ruled by dangerous cats. After meeting a strange sentient fatberg in the sewers, the mouse gains the ability to transform into small but powerful creatures known as Morsels. These transformations provide the strength needed to venture into the world above and challenge the forces keeping smaller creatures under control.
Rather than locking players into one character for an entire run, Morsels revolves around building a rotating group of monsters with different abilities. Magical cards allow new creatures to be collected, while ailments, quirks, upgrades, and other effects can alter how individual Morsels perform. Hidden stages and unexpected gameplay changes add further surprises between runs.
How the Gameplay Works
Combat takes place from a top-down perspective as players move through enemy-filled areas, dodge attacks, and fight using the currently selected Morsel. Members of the active roster can be switched during combat, making it possible to change tactics when another creature’s abilities are better suited to the situation.
New Morsels are discovered during progression and can bring completely different strengths to a run. Power-ups and unusual quirks may improve a creature, while negative conditions can make survival more difficult. Since runs can produce different combinations of characters and modifiers, experimenting with the available roster becomes an important part of reaching further into the cat-controlled world.

How to Install:
