FAITH: The Unholy Trinity is a retro horror collection about priest John Ward and his confrontation with demonic forces connected to a failed exorcism. Minimalist pixel graphics are paired with disturbing sound, religious imagery, and rotoscoped animation to create horror from very limited visual detail.
The trilogy gradually expands from isolated supernatural incidents into a larger story involving cults, possession, forbidden rituals, and John’s own guilt. Multiple routes and hidden events provide more context for players willing to investigate beyond the obvious objective.
How the Gameplay Works
John explores environments from a top-down perspective and uses a crucifix to repel or expose supernatural threats. Many encounters require holding the cross toward a demon while avoiding contact, creating tense battles despite the extremely simple controls.
