About This Game:
Floodland is a survival city-building game set after rising seas and environmental disasters have destroyed much of modern civilization. Small groups of survivors establish settlements among flooded ruins and must rebuild society with limited resources, damaged infrastructure, and communities that do not always agree on how the new world should be governed.

The challenge extends beyond providing food and shelter. Different clans have their own values and expectations, forcing leaders to balance social stability with laws, resource shortages, technological development, and expansion into newly discovered territory.

How the Gameplay Works
Players send survivors to gather food, wood, scrap, and other materials before constructing shelters and production buildings. Exploration teams can move beyond the settlement to investigate islands, abandoned structures, and potential sources of valuable supplies.

Research unlocks improved technology while laws determine how the community responds to shortages and social problems. Bringing additional clans into the settlement increases the workforce but can create ideological tension if their needs and beliefs are ignored.
