Forager is a 2D open-world crafting game about gathering resources, expanding territory, and gradually turning a tiny starting island into a highly productive network of farms, machines, buildings, and automated systems. Its progression draws from crafting, survival, idle games, exploration, and action RPGs.

Nearly every activity produces resources or experience that feeds back into expansion. Players can purchase surrounding land, discover dungeons and puzzles, unlock technologies, automate production, and continue increasing the speed at which the world generates useful materials.

How the Gameplay Works
Players begin by chopping trees, mining rocks, collecting plants, and crafting basic tools. Resources are used to construct furnaces, forges, banks, farms, and other structures that produce increasingly valuable materials.

Leveling provides skill points that unlock new technologies and bonuses across several progression branches. Purchasing new islands reveals puzzles, NPCs, enemies, resources, and dungeons, while later machinery can automate many tasks that originally required constant manual gathering.
