The base has a dynamic sandbox layout where players can revisit areas, get upgrades to their weapons, and clear sections to create safe zones by draining water in the flooded sections. Much of the game takes place in flooded hallways and rooms. You will have to put on scuba gear and face off against monsters of the deep. Fossilfuel 2 is filled with many puzzles to keep you on your feet.
