Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight concludes the long-running conflict between GDI and the Brotherhood of Nod in a future where uncontrolled Tiberium threatens the survival of Earth. Kane unexpectedly approaches GDI with technology capable of controlling the substance, forcing the two longtime enemies into an uneasy partnership.
The game changes many of the traditional Command & Conquer systems. Instead of building large permanent bases and sending harvesters to collect resources, armies operate around mobile Crawlers that function as headquarters, production centers, and respawn points.
How the Gameplay Works
Players choose an Offense, Defense, or Support class, with each providing a different selection of units and abilities. Crawlers can move around the battlefield and deploy when the player needs to produce new units, allowing the main base to relocate alongside the army.
Many battles revolve around controlling strategic nodes rather than simply destroying every enemy structure. Experience unlocks additional units and abilities for each class. Cooperative campaign missions allow players to combine forces, while competitive multiplayer emphasizes teams controlling objectives across large battlefields.
