Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 – Yuri’s Revenge is an expansion that continues the alternate-history conflict immediately after Red Alert 2. Although the Allies have defeated the Soviet Union, Yuri reveals a worldwide network of Psychic Dominators designed to place the entire planet under his control.
The expansion introduces Yuri as a complete third faction with mind-control technology, genetic experiments, unusual defensive structures, and units stolen or adapted from other forces. New Allied and Soviet campaigns use time travel to revisit earlier points in the war and stop Yuri before his plan can succeed.
How the Gameplay Works
Players collect ore, construct bases, produce armies, and attack enemy positions in traditional real-time strategy battles. Allied forces emphasize advanced technology, Soviet armies use heavy armor and destructive weapons, while Yuri’s faction specializes in mind control and manipulating enemy units.
New units and structures expand all three factions, providing additional counters and strategies. Campaign missions frequently introduce unusual objectives and scripted events, while skirmish and multiplayer matches allow Yuri to compete directly against Allied and Soviet commanders on standalone maps.
