Ground Branch is a tactical first-person shooter built around careful planning, realistic weapon handling, and highly customizable equipment. Players take part in counter-terrorism and special-operations missions where a single mistake can be much more costly than in a conventional run-and-gun shooter.
Weapons and tactical gear can be configured in detail, including the placement of sights, lights, lasers, grips, and other attachments. The game also allows players to decide where equipment is carried on their character.
How the Gameplay Works
Missions place players in open tactical environments where objectives can be approached from multiple directions. Movement speed, stance, leaning, weapon position, visibility, and sound all matter when clearing rooms or moving through exposed areas.
Players can cooperate against AI enemies or compete in multiplayer modes. There are no exaggerated hero abilities, so communication, reconnaissance, controlled shooting, and coordinated entry tactics are generally more effective than rushing into unknown rooms.
