Grand Theft Auto V is an open-world action game set in Los Santos and the surrounding countryside of Blaine County. Its story follows Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, three criminals whose lives become connected through robberies, personal conflicts, and increasingly dangerous jobs.

How the Gameplay Works
Missions combine driving, third-person shooting, melee combat, stealth, flying, and scripted action sequences. Character switching sometimes happens during missions, allowing the player to move between different positions or responsibilities while a larger operation is underway.
Outside missions, players can freely explore, steal or purchase vehicles, buy certain properties, participate in sports and hobbies, customize weapons and cars, or trigger random events. Each protagonist also has a unique special ability suited to his strengths.
