About This Game:
Lost in Vivo is a first-person survival horror game that begins when the player’s service dog is swept into a storm drain during heavy rain. Following the animal underground leads into an increasingly disturbing network of tunnels and surreal spaces shaped by fear, isolation, and psychological distress.
The game draws inspiration from older survival horror while using a first-person perspective. Limited resources, oppressive sound design, strange creatures, and deliberately disorienting environments create tension even when no enemy is directly visible.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore narrow environments, search for keys and useful objects, solve puzzles, read notes, and occasionally fight hostile creatures with limited weapons and ammunition. Careful exploration is important because required items can be hidden away from the most obvious route.
The environments become less predictable as the journey continues, frequently using distorted spaces and unsettling imagery to confuse the player. Combat is possible, but avoiding unnecessary danger can preserve valuable supplies.
