Hook 2 is a minimalist logic puzzle game about removing hooks and connected pieces from small mechanical arrangements. It expands the original Hook with new layers, three-dimensional elements, and more complicated sequences.

The presentation remains extremely clean, using simple shapes and sound to keep attention on the logic of each puzzle.

How the Gameplay Works
Players inspect lines, switches, hooks, and connections, then activate them in an order that allows every piece to retract without colliding with something still attached.

Later puzzles introduce additional dimensions and overlapping systems that require planning several moves ahead. There is no timer or penalty beyond restarting a puzzle, making it a calm but increasingly intricate logic experience. What keeps the experience varied is the connection between minimalist logic puzzles, hook-and-line mechanisms, and 3d puzzle elements. Each one solves a different problem, and later situations often require several of them to be used together. order-of-operations challenges then provides another reason to adjust the current plan, especially when mistakes become harder to recover from. As more of the game opens up, minimalist logic puzzles remains central but gains extra depth from hook-and-line mechanisms and 3d puzzle elements. Those systems create room for different strategies, while order-of-operations challenges encourages better use of the tools already introduced. Progress therefore feels like an expansion of the original loop rather than a series of disconnected mechanics.
