About This Game:
Horizon Chase Turbo is an arcade racing game inspired by the fast pseudo-3D racers of the 1980s and 1990s. Players travel through a large world tour of short races featuring bright scenery, changing weather, varied road layouts, and increasingly fast opponents.
The handling is intentionally accessible, placing more emphasis on speed, traffic management, fuel, and clean overtaking than realistic motorsport simulation. New cars and upgrades are unlocked as the player earns better results.
How the Gameplay Works
Races generally begin near the rear of the field, requiring players to overtake many opponents before the finish. Fuel pickups prevent the car from running dry, while nitro boosts provide short bursts of speed when used at the right moment.
Collectible tokens and race victories contribute to progression through the world tour. Up to four players can also race together in local split-screen, preserving the game’s focus on quick arcade competition.
