About This Game:
In Cold Blood is an espionage adventure following British intelligence agent John Cord, who is sent into the fictional former Soviet state of Volgia to investigate a missing American agent and reports surrounding a dangerous new technology. The mission fails, leaving Cord imprisoned and interrogated while trying to reconstruct what went wrong.
Much of the story is told through Cord’s memories, gradually revealing betrayals, military secrets, and the political situation inside Volgia. The game mixes adventure puzzles with stealth and occasional combat.
How the Gameplay Works
Players explore fixed-camera environments, speak with characters, collect objects, operate machinery, and solve puzzles. Cord can also sneak around guards or use firearms when situations become violent.
A handheld device provides access to useful information and hacking functions during certain sequences. Progressing through remembered missions eventually explains why Cord was captured and who may have betrayed the operation.
