Inexistence Rebirth is a side-scrolling action RPG and Metroidvania adventure following Hald, a young man whose sister has been placed into a mysterious sleep. His journey takes him across connected fantasy environments filled with monsters, hidden paths, equipment, and powerful enemies as he searches for a way to save her.
The game combines platforming and exploration with RPG-style character development. Progress gradually gives Hald stronger equipment and new abilities, opening opportunities to reach previously inaccessible locations and survive increasingly difficult encounters.
How the Gameplay Works
Players travel through interconnected 2D areas while jumping across platforms, fighting enemies, searching for secrets, and defeating bosses. Combat revolves around melee attacks, magic, dodging, and choosing equipment suited to the situation.
Experience and equipment improve Hald’s effectiveness as the adventure continues. New movement and combat abilities expand the areas that can be explored, encouraging players to return to earlier locations to discover optional routes, treasure, and other hidden content.
