Infected Shelter is a post-apocalyptic roguelite brawler where survivors fight through procedurally arranged areas filled with mutated enemies, hostile humans, and bizarre machinery. Runs combine melee fighting, firearms, cybernetic improvements, equipment, and exaggerated ragdoll physics.
Each attempt begins with a survivor leaving shelter to search for missing companions and resources. Death sends the player back, but additional weapons, perks, characters, and other content can gradually become available for later runs.
How the Gameplay Works
Players fight through groups of enemies using punches, kicks, melee weapons, guns, explosives, and environmental objects. Weapons wear out or run out of ammunition, encouraging frequent switching rather than relying on one favorite item.
Procedurally arranged rooms contain shops, upgrades, random encounters, and combat challenges. Cybernetic implants and perks alter character abilities during a run, while bosses demand stronger builds and more careful use of available resources.
