About This Game:
Journey of a Roach is a point-and-click adventure set after a nuclear disaster, following two cockroaches attempting to reach the surface from an underground shelter. The story is told with almost no conventional spoken dialogue, relying instead on animated symbols, gestures, and visual comedy.

Because the protagonists are cockroaches, walls and ceilings are just as walkable as the floor. This creates unusual room layouts and puzzle situations that would not be possible with a normal human character.

How the Gameplay Works
Players explore rooms, collect objects, interact with other mutated insects, and combine inventory items to solve environmental puzzles. Important clues are communicated visually, so observing character reactions and background details is often necessary.

Walking onto walls or ceilings rotates the player’s perspective and exposes different parts of each location. Many puzzles use this ability to hide pathways or objects in places that initially appear inaccessible.
