About This Game:
Killer7 is a surreal action-adventure directed by Goichi Suda, following Harman Smith and the seven personalities that form the assassin known as the killer7. The group becomes involved in a political and supernatural conflict centered on invisible creatures called Heaven Smiles.
Its cel-shaded presentation, fragmented narrative, unusual controls, and shifting playable personalities give the game a structure unlike a conventional third-person shooter. Each personality has different weapons and abilities that become useful in specific situations.
How the Gameplay Works
Movement follows predetermined routes, with players choosing directions at junctions rather than freely walking through every space. When enemies are nearby, the character enters an aiming mode where Heaven Smiles must first be detected before their weak points can be targeted.
Players can switch between personalities to use different firearms or special abilities. Exploration also involves puzzles, collectible blood, character upgrades, and encounters with bosses that often require discovering a specific method of attack.
