About This Game:
Kainga: Seeds of Civilization is a compact roguelite village-building game set in a strange world where communities must adapt quickly to unusual landscapes, giant creatures, weather, and rival settlements. Each run begins with a Thinker who leads a small group toward a specific objective.
The game is intentionally more experimental than traditional city builders. Technologies are discovered during a run, and the player must work with whatever options appear rather than following one fixed progression tree.
How the Gameplay Works
Players gather basic resources, place homes and production buildings, train units, and choose technologies when inspiration points are found. Building styles and available inventions can change significantly from one run to another.
Environmental conditions may include floods, unusual terrain, massive beasts, or limited construction space. Completing objectives unlocks more Thinkers, technologies, and starting possibilities for future settlements.
