About This Game:
Legion 51 is a humorous reverse tower defense game inspired by the internet phenomenon surrounding the attempted storming of Area 51. Instead of building towers to stop an incoming army, players organize waves of enthusiastic raiders and try to push them through increasingly dangerous military defenses.
Different followers bring their own advantages to the formation, while soldiers and defensive positions become more dangerous as the legion approaches its objective. Success depends on arranging units effectively rather than simply sending the largest possible crowd.
How the Gameplay Works
Players place different unit types into formations and send them running toward Area 51 through defended routes. Military enemies attack the formation as it advances, so unit placement influences how many followers survive long enough to reach the next section.
Hype points can be spent to strengthen the legion and improve its performance. Combining units with useful perks creates stronger formations, while special abilities can be activated at the right moment to break through particularly dangerous defenses.
