About This Game:
LEGO DC Super-Villains is an action-adventure game that turns the usual superhero formula around by putting DC’s villains at the center of the story. Players create their own custom super-villain and join characters such as Joker, Harley Quinn, Lex Luthor, Reverse-Flash, and many others after the Justice League suddenly disappears. A new group calling itself the Justice Syndicate arrives to replace them, but their true intentions quickly become suspicious, forcing the villains to work together against a larger threat.

The game combines LEGO-style humor, puzzle solving, combat, exploration, and a large roster of characters with different powers. Players travel through familiar DC locations, complete story missions, unlock additional heroes and villains, and return to open hub areas filled with side activities and collectibles. The custom character also develops new abilities during the story, becoming more useful as additional powers are unlocked.

How the Gameplay Works
Players control LEGO versions of DC characters from a third-person perspective while fighting enemies, breaking objects, solving environmental puzzles, and building new LEGO structures from scattered pieces. Different characters have unique abilities such as super strength, flight, speed, electricity, explosives, hacking, and ranged attacks, so switching between characters is often required to overcome obstacles and reach hidden areas.

Story missions are supported by open hub locations where players can explore freely, complete optional challenges, collect items, and unlock more characters. The custom villain gains additional powers as the campaign progresses and can be visually edited with different costumes, colors, weapons, and accessories. Free Play allows completed levels to be revisited with unlocked characters, making it possible to access areas and collectibles that could not be reached during the first playthrough.
