Lifeless Planet Premier Edition is a third-person exploration adventure about an astronaut who lands on a supposedly promising distant world and discovers an empty Soviet-style settlement. The unexpected structures raise questions about earlier human activity and what caused the planet to become so barren.
The journey focuses on isolation, environmental storytelling, and uncovering the planet’s history while traveling across deserts, mountains, caves, and abandoned facilities.
How the Gameplay Works
Players walk and jump across large environments while searching for paths, activating machinery, solving straightforward environmental puzzles, and locating clues left behind by earlier explorers. A limited jetpack assists with larger gaps and vertical traversal.
Progress is mostly linear but frequently opens into wide landscapes that emphasize the scale and emptiness of the planet. Recorded messages, documents, structures, and unusual natural phenomena gradually explain the mystery surrounding the expedition.
