Rayman Forever is an expanded PC release of the original Rayman platforming adventure. Rayman’s colorful world has been disrupted by Mr. Dark, who steals the Great Protoon and leaves the Electoons scattered and imprisoned throughout dangerous regions.
The package builds around the original side-scrolling game while adding extra content beyond the main adventure. Its hand-drawn environments, unusual creatures, demanding platforming, and distinctive music preserve the style that introduced Rayman to players.
How the Gameplay Works
Players run and jump through side-scrolling stages while avoiding enemies, spikes, water, moving platforms, and other hazards. Rayman gradually gains abilities such as punching, hanging, and additional movement techniques that are required for later levels.
Cages containing Electoons are hidden throughout stages and reward thorough exploration. Many later levels demand precise timing and repeated attempts, while bosses provide larger encounters at important points in the adventure.
