About This Game:
Rayman Origins returns the series to fast 2D platforming with a hand-drawn adventure starring Rayman, Globox, and the Teensies. Trouble spreads across the Glade of Dreams, sending the heroes through forests, deserts, underwater regions, musical environments, and other imaginative worlds.
The game combines traditional platforming with smooth animation and increasingly elaborate movement sequences. Levels contain hidden areas and trapped Electoons, while later stages demand faster reactions and more precise use of the heroes’ growing movement abilities.
How the Gameplay Works
Players run, jump, attack, swim, glide, wall-run, and use other abilities while moving through side-scrolling stages. Lums are scattered throughout each level and contribute toward performance and unlockable progression.
Hidden rooms contain additional challenges and rescued Electoons, encouraging repeated exploration. The campaign can be played alone or with additional local players, allowing several characters to progress through the same stages together.
