Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc is a colorful 3D platforming adventure where an army of corrupted creatures known as Hoodlums begins causing trouble throughout Rayman’s world. Rayman and Globox travel through a series of unusual environments while confronting the Hoodlum forces and the strange plans behind their invasion.
The game places greater emphasis on combat than earlier Rayman adventures while retaining platforming, exploration, collectibles, and humorous characters. Temporary combat suits give Rayman unusual powers that are used both against enemies and to overcome environmental obstacles.
How the Gameplay Works
Players run, jump, climb, and attack Hoodlums using Rayman’s ranged punches. Combat frequently rewards keeping attacks connected and using environmental opportunities to increase the score earned from an encounter.
Special equipment such as the LockJaw and Shock Rocket provides temporary abilities that open doors, reach distant targets, or solve specific traversal challenges. Levels also contain hidden collectibles and optional areas for players willing to search beyond the main route.
